Bush’s favorable rating is down to 39%, and most striking is that 50% of those polled favored impeaching Bush if it is found he lied about Iraq to invade that country. and even Republican men and White Evangelicals? “strong
approval” has dipped to 42% and 33% respectively, note
this disturbing paragraph:

pipelines, refineries and terminals, as well as 2 charts

50% of Americans Polled Favor Impeaching Bush
If He Lied About Reasons For Invading Iraq

If you are one of the 50% of Americans who have been wondering why we seem not to be considering impeaching our overzealous President because of his false behavior re invading Iraq, you may realize now that you are not alone.
An Ipsos poll conducted October 8-9 2005
polled 1001 adults, finding that 50% agreed with the following statement:

“If President Bush did not tell the truth about his reasons for going to war with Iraq, Congress should consider holding him accountable by impeaching him.”

“Those who agreed with the statement were also more passionate: 39% strongly agreed, while 30% strongly disagreed.

“The results of this poll are truly astonishing,” said AfterDowningStreet.org co-founder Bob Fertik. “Bush’s record-low approval ratings tell just half of the story, which is how much Americans oppose Bush’s policies on Iraq and other issues. But this poll tells the other half of the story – that a solid plurality of Americans want Congress to consider removing Bush from the White House.”

In August and September of 1998, 16 major polls asked about impeaching President Clinton . Only 36% supported hearings to consider impeachment, and only 26% supported actual impeachment and removal. Even so, the impeachment debate dominated the news for months, and the Republican Congress impeached Clinton despite overwhelming public opposition.”****

With corporate and Republican dominance of the media, have you heard about this current Ipsos poll result yet?? The New York Times for one, seems to have totally ignored the results so far. Get this: Gallup has stated that it WOULD poll “if, and when, there is some discussion of that possibility by congressional leaders, and/or if commentators begin discussing it in the news media.” ****

Strange, isn?t it? Now you have the picture. You can voice your wonder about impeaching this impetuous President we have, who has confessed he has done what he has because God told him to it. But do not discount the earthly a-spiritual premeditation. And can we at least also consider impeaching our own Dr. No, our Vice President, Dick Cheney?
Is that allowable under the constitution?

God Talked To George Bush and Told Him to Fight Those Terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan

Yes, George did confide to “Palestinian leader Mahmud Abbas and (former) foreign minister Nabil Shaath in June 2003” that:

“‘I’m driven with a mission from God.

‘God would tell me, ‘George, go and fight those
terrorists in Afghanistan’.’

“And I did, and then God would tell me,
‘George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq…’ And I did.

“‘And now, again, I feel God’s words coming
to me, ‘Go get the Palestinians their state
and get the Israelis their security, and get
peace in the Middle East.’ And by God I’m
gonna do it’,” said Shaath.

Abbas, who was also at the meeting in the
Egyptian resort of Sharm al-Sheikh, recalled
how the president told him: “I have a moral and
religious obligation.

“So I will get you a Palestinian state.”
