A great time for reflecting on the next step in this sea change that is happening to Leonie and I. Feeling really positive, although the long distance phone calls do not quell our separation anxieties, it keeps us more focused and resolved to make it happen.

So here I am for the day in Russell’s hideaway, listening to the birds chatter away, while Stumpy the Aussie lorikeet imitates the phone ringing (pitch perfect!!),duping me again, as I get up to answer the silent phone. Sadly Russell informs me of the latest fatality caused by marauding stoats, two bantam chooks half devoured and a catatonic rooster suffering post traumatic stress!!! So its now time to set the first stoat trap for the season.

Have to log off from my wonderings and draft some cover letters for the next round of my job search, and consider the next move in Phil’s sea change adventure.
